About 80 participants gathered in Nairobi for the Kenya–USA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference. Quinetha Fraser, Founder of Social Impact Technology LLC and CEO of the Global Foundation for Education and Economic Mobility, Inc., hosted and moderated the event. Speakers included Dr. Kemah E. P. Washington, CXO at Liminal and President and CEO of BRANDilly, who spoke about positioning cross-border businesses for success, and William J. Milton, Jr., CFP®, Senior Partner at Oak Capital Management, LLC, who led a masterclass on financial investment strategies for growth. Main speaker Dominique S. Milton, President and Chief Engagement Officer of the Carolinas–Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (CVMSDC), spoke on “High Touch, High Tech: Women Building Bridges Beyond Borders.”
